SEMRush will officially launch their new AdSense Advertiser Report as
part of their SEO toolkit on Feb. 1. The report offers downloadable
data on AdSense publishers as well as metrics for individual text ads.
The feature can be used to check out your own site or a competitor. Our
readers can preview the new feature before the launch (see instructions
below).
The AdSense report shows the number of unique impressions, number of
days seen, date last seen, and average position per publisher. In the
Text Ads section, marketers can see the peak number of publishers
running the ad in the last month, first and last seen dates, frequency,
and average position data within the SEMRush dashboard.

“We’re also adding an internal page diagnosis feature. It gives a
large review of the page and shows where it’s effective for Google
search,” Ronnie Anderson from SEMRush told Search Engine Watch. “Users
can also do competitor search with it and everything is backed up by
SEMRush data. It’s not just about organic and AdWords; it’s about page
optimization, backlinks, social, and mobile. We want to be able to give
our users as much data as they can use, as a one-stop shop for them.”
The free version of SEMRush gives users ten queries per day, with ten
results per query. Pro Level, at $69.95 a month, allows 3,000 daily
queries and 10,000 results per query. The SeoQuake toolbar is a free plugin for Firefox, Chrome, or Safari and has been downloaded more than 2 million times worldwide.
We spoke to long-time SeoQuake toolbar and SEMRush user Kathryn Parsons, a search marketer, about the tools.
“I think it's a great tool for getting a snapshot on what the site is
like,” Parsons said. “The data itself isn't perfect, but as long as
you're using it in comparison (i.e., is site A better than site B?),
then you're fine. I would give your readers a warning about leaving it
turned on all the time. It will trip Google's spam filter and you'll
have to start verifying your searches because Google will think you're a
bot.”

“Right now it seems as though they’re still building it out. SEMRush
is one of the tools I use, so once the data is more complete, I can see
it being one of the places I check for links,” Rangen said. “It’s always
good to use a few different tools, since you’ll get different numbers
with each.”
Anderson said the database is still in development and SEMRush
foresees the backlinks feature being a full-fledged resource within the
next month.
“We are continuing to add databases and incorporate new tools,”
Anderson said. “We’re also going to be unveiling new products to serve
our smaller business users. We serve major corporations, but also have
people running a single website out of their home. We want to make our
tools as accessible as possible.”
To preview the new AdSense reports, go to SEMRush and simply add “(by adsense)” (without quotes) after the domain you're querying, as shown in the first screenshot.
